本科公共卫生项目的使命是营造一种环境 拥抱多样性，激发积极的，批判性的，跨学科的教学 and learning to improve population health. 

Why pursue a degree in Public Health? 

公共卫生是研究和促进所有人口的健康和福祉， recognizing that health is a fundamental human right. 公共卫生镜头关注的不仅仅是医疗保健、生物学和行为: 它侧重于环境、社会、经济、行为、生物和政治 factors influence human health. 公共卫生从业人员的目标是协同工作 与不同的社区进行研究并创造相关的干预措施 加强社区能力，促进健康，减少卫生不公平现象.

    我们系提供四种公共卫生本科学位途径 Pathway有两种选择，我们提供两种浓度. All students must choose one pathways to complete the degree. 

    General Pathway

    1) The B.S. 高级公共卫生选修课或辅修公共卫生专业 是为对公共卫生感兴趣并想选择选修课的学生准备的 从批准的列表或配对的主要与补充的次要. 

    Concentrations

    1)如果你被吸引到与社区合作以改善健康， then the B.S. 公共卫生专业，专攻社区卫生教育 may be the pathway for you! 或者，如果你喜欢分析数据和思考 about research then the B.S. 公共卫生专业，主修人口数据科学 may be the best fit!

    If you are a student with catalog rights to our previously offered programs: 1) B.S. in Public Health with upper division electives, or 2) B.S. 公共卫生专业，集中在卫生服务管理局 please see an advisor to verify your pathway to graduation.  

• Admission to the Public Health Major

  • Admission to the Public Health Major

    Complete our online application. Applications are reviewed monthly. 被该专业录取的学生将收到通知 via email.
